In a world where technology and nature are constantly intertwining, one name continues to stand out — Zepter International. A brand long synonymous with luxury, innovation, and longevity, Zepter is once again setting new standards — this time, in the world of optics.
Behind every successful brand is a strong, dedicated team. And when it comes to Zepter in Croatia, one name stands out — Igor Pavlović, CFO of Zepter Croatia and proud husband of the company’s CEO, Kata Pavlović. Together, this power couple blends vision, expertise, and commitment, delivering innovations that not only simplify everyday life but genuinely improve its quality.
In an interview with Symbol, Igor Pavlović discusses Zepter’s groundbreaking innovation — Hyperlight Eyewear. Far from being just a fashion accessory, these glasses represent a true revolution in eye protection and overall well-being.

Zepter has championed a healthy lifestyle philosophy for decades. Can you tell us a bit about your journey to this prominent role within the company?
I can honestly say that life naturally led me to Zepter. Over the years, I followed my wife Kata in the fields of management and business strategy, and the mentorship of Mr. Philip Zepter played a key role in my own professional growth. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Zepter is more than just a business — it’s truly a way of life. Our mission is clear: to promote health and quality of life through innovative products, on a global scale.
Zepter is known for its holistic approach to health. How is that philosophy reflected in the Hyperlight Eyewear glasses?
They are the result of years of research and scientific breakthroughs. The glasses are designed to transform UV and high-energy blue light into a beneficial spectrum, helping to optimize brain and visual function. At the heart of this innovation are lenses coated with fullerene C60, a revolutionary discovery credited to Nobel Prize laureates Harry Kroto, Richard Smalley, and Robert Curl.
This material not only filters harmful radiation, but also converts it into a beneficial spectrum that helps regulate the body’s biological rhythm, boost serotonin levels, and reduce stress. Combined with eight patented ionic coatings that reduce reflection to less than 1%, it allows for a clearer and sharper visual perception — which means less eye strain and greater comfort, especially during long hours in front of a screen.

How does Hyperlight Eyewear impact the health of its users?
We live in a digital age, constantly surrounded by screens and artificial light — a combination that can lead to a range of health issues, from eye fatigue and reduced concentration to insomnia and even hormonal imbalances. Hyperlight Eyewear offers several key benefits: it helps reduce eye strain caused by prolonged screen time, optimizes brain function, enhancing focus and cognitive performance, and regulates neuroendocrine activity by boosting serotonin levels and lowering stress. The glasses also support the circadian rhythm, helping to reduce sleep disturbances, stabilize blood pressure, and minimize fluctuations in body temperature.
In your opinion, what is the secret behind the longevity of the Zepter brand?
The secret lies in a simple yet powerful concept: quality, innovation, and a genuine commitment to health. Zepter products aren’t passing trends — they’re made to last and often passed down from generation to generation. Our customers aren’t just consumers; they become part of a community that values health and quality of life. Because at Zepter, we don’t just sell products — we offer a better way of living.
In a world where health is the most valuable resource — because the future belongs to those who invest in it — Hyperlight Eyewear represents a true revolution, seamlessly blending scientific excellence with elegant design, concludes Igor Pavlović.
With Igor and Kata Pavlović at the helm, Zepter Croatia continues to carry forward a vision of the future where quality, health, and longevity are not just ideals, but a way of life.
